About the camp
Buitengoed de Veenstede markets itself as peace and space in the beautiful nature of Drenthe. Every pitch is a comfort plot of about 150 m² with a water and wastewater hookup, a 16 ampere electricity point and wifi over the whole grounds, in a quiet area with little car traffic. Electricity use is measured per pitch and settled at the end of the stay so guests never pay for a neighbour's consumption. Campers are served by a sanitary station for chemical toilets and a dedicated wastewater dump point, and parking sits at the pitch. Glamping in a safari tent is offered besides caravan, tent and camper pitches, and the site also opens at Christmas and New Year for seasonal arrangements.
