De Waterhoeven
Netherlands · from €25 per night
Campsite
De Waterhoeven is a small campsite run by the volunteers of Stichting B.N.R., where every pitch has 10-amp electricity and its own water tap. A night is priced per place rather than per person, and that price covers all facilities: free showers and dishwashing, wifi, a shared fridge and freezer, and a pavilion with a library and television. The camp also takes day visitors between 08:00 and 20:00.

About the camp
There are few pitches here and everyone at reception is a volunteer, so the camp keeps to fixed hours: arrival from 14:00, departure by 12:00 the next day, no early check-in and no late check-out. Pricing is just as plain. One nightly amount covers a place for a family or any other travelling party, and a smaller one covers a solo traveller. Both include 9% VAT and the use of everything on site: power and water at the pitch, free showers, dishwashing, a shared fridge and freezer, a chemical-toilet disposal point, wifi and the pavilion with its books and television. Only tourist tax and a washing-machine load are printed as extras. The 2026 tariff page states the camp opened again on 1 April and names no closing date.
