About the camp
De Zuurberg is a friendly family business: a small campsite and a group farmhouse (kampeerboerderij) set in the middle of nature. The owners stress the small scale - roomy pitches, and personal attention and service instead of a crowded park - along with the easy Salland hospitality. The camping suits tenters and caravaners who want a quiet woodside base for walking and cycling; every pitch has electricity and the site has its own sanitary building with showers. The group farmhouse has two dormitories (22 and 28 beds), a large living room and kitchen, a recreation room, and its own playing field with volleyball, football and handball goals, which is why schools and football clubs book it. The Pieterpad passes the gate.
