About the camp
Den Aenstoot calls itself a boerderijcamping, a farm campsite, and keeps the family feel that goes with it. Campers, caravans and tents are placed only along the edge of the site so the middle stays open, and the grounds are ringed by forest, which the owners present as a place to come and slow down. Arrival is with coffee from the owners, and guests pick their own pitch. The camp is open the whole year and also lets people take a seasonal or annual pitch. Multiple sanitary buildings are kept clean, wifi is free, and the Limburg countryside around Kessel suits walking, cycling and touring, with the rebuilt castle and old centre of the village close by and the historic towns of Venlo and Roermond a short drive away.
