About the camp

The owners describe Dennedune as a campsite with a reputation for being quiet and family-run, and say they intend to keep it that way: from 22:30 the camp must be quiet, and anyone who is comfortable with that - young people included - is explicitly welcome. Small children have a sandpit, a rocking animal and a crow's nest on the camp itself. Older ones can cycle straight from the site along a bike path into the forest to build huts. A large field belonging to the campsite lies in front of it: parking for the car, a volleyball pitch set up in high season, and room to fly a kite. Dogs come along with the owners' blessing - leashed on the field, off the lead in the adjoining Hoorner forest and on the beach behind it.

  • forest boundary directly at the pitches, beach a walk through it away
  • flat 2026 rate list with no high-season surcharge
  • large extra field belonging to the camp for parking, volleyball and kite flying
  • dog-friendly owners
