Family Camping Seinen is a quiet, motorcycle-oriented campsite at Witterhaar 9 in Assen, 50 m from the Baggelhuizerplas recreation lake and a short walk from the TT Circuit. It runs two areas, the family camping ground and a TT camping ground with 24-hour security during race weeks, and is open from April to October.

About the camp
Camping Seinen presents itself as a calm, atmospheric site where safety comes first, built around an old farmstead that forms the social centre: a bar, music and three TV screens, with the grounds laid out for motorcyclists. The family camping ground takes caravans, campers and tents, has a trekkersveld for walk-in campers, plenty of parking and a sanitary block with separate men's and women's toilets and hot showers, which the owners call their calling card. During TT race weekends the second ground adds a party tent with seating and a beer tap, a beamer with a big screen and a restaurant that opens at 07:30. Groups can use the large canteen, and the site also lets out a hall for private parties of up to 200 people.

The camp sits on the west edge of Assen, 50 m from the Baggelhuizerplas, a recreation lake about 2.5 m deep in the middle of a 125 ha recreation area. The TT Circuit Assen is within walking distance (the site's own pages give 15 to 30 minutes on foot). Drenthe's hunebedden, forest and museum villages are a short drive away.
