A small-scale, car- and dog-free family campsite hidden in the woods of Ermelo on the Veluwe, with the village centre a few minutes away. For 2025 the park lets out season plots only, so there is no nightly stay to book. The site is being redeveloped into a luxury forest park under the new name Forest Parq Veluwe.

About the camp
Het Vossenhol sells itself as a proper family camp where children can play unwatched precisely because no cars and no dogs are allowed on the grounds. Everything sits in the Ermelo forest: a heated sanitary building with a dishwashing area, a laundry by the entrance next to the chemical toilet and camper dump station, and a covered pool whose roof opens on warm days - the pool has been closed since 2 September 2024 and its slide is temporarily out of service. There is a water play garden with sandpit, a playhouse, table tennis and a boule court opposite, and the Indianenbos nature playground is within walking distance. Guests get fast free wifi and access to over 3,000 magazines, books and audiobooks through the Wait app.

The camp lies in the forest on the edge of Ermelo, with the village centre a few minutes away. The nearest beach is 7 km off at Strand Horst, the former fishing towns Harderwijk and Elburg are a short drive, and the Veluwe offers an extensive network of marked walking and cycling routes - a signposted tour is waiting at the reception.
