Campsite
A farm campsite on the Kanaaldijk just outside Giethoorn, with 45 spacious grass pitches arranged around sheltering hedges. Electricity and tourist tax are already inside the nightly pitch price, and showers are free year round. The farm shop, the sanitary building and the play field were all renovated, and the Wieden national park begins at the edge of the village.

About the camp
Hoeve Montigny is camping at the farm, run by the Bijkerk family: farm, camping, B&B rooms, apartments and group accommodation in one place. The 45 pitches all lie on a maintained grass sward and are screened from each other by planting, so the site reads as one green field rather than rows. Campers arrive onto a hardened motorhome area with its own waste water point, and every pitch has a 6 ampère Euro connection with 10 ampère available. Children have a playground, an air trampoline, pedal karts and a play frame, while adults have table tennis, table football and a boules lane, plus bicycles to hire, a rowing boat to borrow and a fishing spot directly at the farm. A quiet, rural base from which Giethoorn and its canals are within reach.
