About the camp
Hidden in the green fringe of the Alblasserwaard polder, Kweetal pitches its spots between birdsong and young fruit trees, laid out for privacy and quiet while staying close to nature. The autoluwe (car-lite) site is deliberately small-scale, with well-equipped verharde camper places, a chemical toilet disposal point and heated sanitary buildings whose amenities - 16A electricity, free WiFi over the whole grounds, water taps, a microwave and covered, chargeable bike stabling - all come with the pitch price. From the base, the windmills of UNESCO-listed Kinderdijk, the fortified town of Gorinchem, silver town Schoonhoven on the Lek, the Biesbosch and local swimming lakes are all within easy reach. Meeting and group rooms make it a base for club outings too.
