About the camp
Landgoed DeCamping calls itself a social village enterprise and campsite on the beautiful Hogeland. Camping comes in three shapes here: a pitch for a camper or caravan, a tent pitch, or one of the holiday cottages, which can be taken for a midweek, a weekend or a whole week. The prices are printed plainly, and each pitch price already covers two people, so extras such as another person, a second tent, the dog or electricity are added line by line. What sets the place apart is its programme: the camp stages its own festival, Terug Naar Het Begin, and runs a theatre schedule as well. It is a village operation first and a campsite as part of it.
- a social village enterprise rather than a commercial campsite
- stages its own festival and theatre programme
- cottages booked by midweek, weekend or full week
