About the camp
A working care farm (zorgboerderij) that has been in the Te Voortwis family since 1783, on a plot where a farmstead already stood in 1632; the owners call the place 'een eiland buiten de tijd' - an island outside time. The camping is deliberately not a residence: there are no seasonal pitches, annual pitches, winter storage or places to live, so the fields keep their quiet. Horses, donkeys, alpacas and poultry roam the yard, frog ponds and the Engelen Eiland island sit in the middle of the water-retention area, an old oak stands in the labyrinth, and the sunflowers bloom late in summer. Craft made by the care farm's participants is sold at the reception, with the proceeds going to their activities. In the late summer the pluktuin serves tea from its own leaves, ice cream and small things picked that day.

- eight camper and caravan pitches with a euro plug per pair, overlooking the retention area and the labyrinth
