About the camp
The owners describe the place as a quiet, small campsite in south-east Friesland and ask their guests to share its plain style. Nature sets the tone: the camp's own ecologist, Willem Bosma, leads guided excursions, and the camp also points to its regional produce shop with organic dairy and flour, its tea terrace and its workshops for bread, pastry and chocolate. Camping stays simple here. A pitch fee and a per-person fee are charged side by side, every electricity connection has its own kWh meter so guests pay only for what they use, and warm water for personal hygiene comes with the night rather than from a coin machine. Grass is why guests staying longer than two weeks are asked to move their unit halfway through the stay.
