A small motorhome site beside a working farm in Geesteren (Ov), in Twente close to the German border, with 24 pitches under trees and two trekkershutten. Open all year; every pitch is 6 metres wide with a 10 A hookup and its own paved lane.

About the camp

Reensboer Recreatie opened in May 2021 as an addition to the owners' farm and is run on that scale: a quiet, tree-lined field just outside the village where you pick your own spot, and the farmer comes to you. The pitch price covers wifi, the sanitary building, the service point and the dishwashing places; power, tourist tax and any extra person in the camper are added. The owners lean on the Twente surroundings — marked walks and cycle routes from the gate, the steakhouse and a bistro a short walk away, village shops within walking distance — and on what the farm itself produces: fresh eggs daily, a bread-roll service, a weekend breakfast box, and a small regional shop with craft beer, wine, liqueur, sausage, BBQ packs and ice cream. The canteen with its bar is free to use in the evening, and pets are welcome at no charge.

Out of the village but still close to Geesteren's centre: bakery, butcher, supermarket, drugstore, florist and a bike shop within walking or cycling distance, and a vet nearby. Ribhouse Texas steakhouse and Bistro de Kruidentuin are around the corner. Ootmarsum, the Watermolen Bels, the Springendal nature area, the Engbertsdijkvenen bog and Het Veenmuseum are all within a short drive, near the German border.
