A rural mini campsite on an arable farm at Kerkwerve near Brouwershaven, Zeeland, with places for tent, caravan and camper plus seasonal and annual stands. The grounds lie on the south side, screened all round by planting with shade from the sun, 2 km from Brouwershaven on the Grevelingenmeer. Open from 29 March to the end of October, every day of the week.

About the camp

Ruimzicht is a quiet, open-feeling campsite run alongside a farm: the page leads with 'rust en ruimte', peace and space, and a walking path starts behind the farm buildings, with a car-free cycle route towards Brouwershaven. Places are for a tent, a caravan or a camper; campers can also take a hardstanding spot purely to sleep over on the way to the Brouwersdam. Seasonal and annual stands (160 m², hedge-separated) have electricity, water and drainage, and indoor caravan storage is available. Facilities are a sanitary building, a washing-up point, a water tap, 6-ampere hookups, a washing machine and paid showers. Children get a trampoline, swings, table tennis and a sjoelbak, and Bobby the Keeshond lives on site. You book by phone or email, a deposit is possible, and one night is fine.

Brouwershaven lies 2 km away on the Grevelingenmeer and has everything watersport: diving, fishing, surfing. The North Sea and the Brouwersdam surf and kitesurf area are 5 km; Renesse and Haamstede are a short distance; Zierikzee, about 7 km, has old buildings and a large marina. Brouwershaven and Den Osse both have beaches used by children and dive spots, and Zierikzee holds its weekly market on Thursday all year.
