Stadsparkeerrerein Haagweg Leiden
Netherlands
Haagweg is Leiden's largest municipal car park, at Haagweg 8 between the Naturalis museum and the car-free city centre. It is open around the clock under camera surveillance, and a free minibus runs to the centre from 06:00. This is a car park, not a campsite: every price on the site is a parking tariff for a car, by duration up to 24 hours.

About the camp
The site presents Haagweg as the starting point for a day in Leiden: the old town with its canals, terraces and cafés is minutes away, as are the Burcht fortress, the Hooglandse Kerk and the Pieterskerk, and the streets where Rembrandt and Jan Steen walked. From the car park a free minibus with certified drivers goes to Naturalis, the museums and key spots across the centre; for the return, callers use the number printed on their parking ticket or signal a driver. Free city maps travel in the shuttles, and on special days there are train rides for all ages. The car park is operated by Stichting Stadsparkeerplan Leiden.
