A small family campsite at the edge of the De Maashorst nature area in Nistelrode, with at most 25 pitches, a playground in the middle of the field and ponies, rabbits and chickens for the younger guests. It is open from 1 April to 1 November and also rents two static caravans.

About the camp

Minicamping Uitgerust is a cosy, sociable family camp set among the meadows and woods of De Maashorst, the largest nature area of North Brabant. The owners built it around small children: the playground with its sandpit sits in the middle of the camp so parents keep the children in sight, there are ponies to ride and groom, foals, rabbits and chickens to pet, and a large recreation room for reading, playing a game or simply being together. Walk and cycle routes start from the gate, including a Kabouterpad for children and a network of numbered cycle junctions. Horse riders are welcome to bring their own horse, which grazes in a paddock and can be ridden out in the woods behind the camp. In the shoulder seasons the same field is a quiet base for campers after peace and quiet.

On the edge of De Maashorst, a forest, heath and drifting-sand landscape, with meadow and woodland views from the pitches and walking and cycling paths leaving straight from the camp. Nistelrode sits close to Uden and Oss, with 's-Hertogenbosch about 20 km away; Natuurcentrum De Maashorst is roughly 1.5 km off.
