About the camp
Wylder Woods is the project of owner Floortje Aben, who describes the place as raw, pure and honest, and builds it in the same spirit: the accommodations are furnished as circularly as she can find, the grounds grow a little every day, and entrepreneurship is run nature-inclusive, with the seasons setting the rhythm. Guests pitch on the grass field or under the trees, share a wooden sanitary building with three rooms, each with its own shower, washbasin and toilet, and can use the wood-fired sauna and outdoor shower, the fully equipped outdoor kitchen and the BBQ between the outdoor seating nooks. In the middle of the grounds, Inge and her team run Boscafé van Moorsel six days a week with a local breakfast, fresh lunch and a Bourguignon borrel, plus a Friday evening daghap. A wooden barn with doors wide onto the vegetable garden hosts creative workshops and private dining. Stays are for two to twenty people and the site receives guests all year.

Moorsel 1 lies at Lierop, in the forest between the Lieropse bossen and the Strabrechtse Heide, with heath, ponds, drift sand, birds, deer and Scottish Highland cattle a walk away through the woods. The site keeps its own list of favourite walks, bike rides and places to eat nearby: the Vaderland restaurant and farm shop, Boer Arie's farm shop in Heeze, a pancake restaurant opposite Lierop's koepelkerk, the heidecafé De Strabrechtse Hoeve out on the heath, a pick-your-own flower garden in summer and a thrift shop for the treasure hunters.
