Retro-style autocamping on 40,000 m² of grassy terrain at 498 m altitude in the southern Krivánska Malá Fatra mountains, near Turany. Two streams with waterfalls run through the site, which offers log cabins and pitches for tents and caravans.

About the camp

Auto-Camping Trusalová sits in the Turiec region, surrounded by coniferous and deciduous trees at the gateway to Malá Fatra. The camp has a retro character. Wooden cabins with fridges and electric heating, open grass pitches with electrical hook-ups for roughly 120 units, and two shared kitchens with ovens, hotplates and kettles. Two streams cross the grounds, forming small waterfalls. Sanitary facilities have been renovated. The camp is popular with hikers heading for Veľký Kriváň, mushroom pickers and families seeking a quiet mountain base. A restaurant and children's playground sit just outside the entrance. Cash only.
