About the camp

Autokemp Rudava is a member-run recreational area at a former gravel pit, open April through October. The site offers tent pitches, caravan spots, bungalows named after local trees (Čerešňa, Višňa, Vŕba, Borovica, Jelša, Breza, Smrek), a tourist room, and semi-wooden tents. The lake has gravel and sand beaches for swimming, and the surrounding pine forests provide shade and walking paths. The camp emphasises community activities: a shared kitchen serves breakfasts, there is a social room with library, children's play area with trampolines, sports courts, and organised events. The area is popular with canoeists on the Morava river, cyclists on the Záhorie cycle trails, and anglers targeting carp, catfish and pike in the lake.

Set in the Záhorie protected landscape area beside the Morava river, which forms the border with Czech Republic and Austria. Pine forests surround the lake. Bratislava is 40 km southeast, Malacky 8 km. Cycle trails follow the river and through the protected area.
