About the camp

Camp Zlaté kopyto sits in a quiet valley surrounded by gorges, canyons and waterfalls up to 20 metres high. The main building has 4- and 6-bed rooms, a dining hall, a common room with TV and board games, and shared sanitary facilities renovated in 2011. Nine freestanding cabins sleep 2–4. Outdoor facilities include a volleyball and football pitch, pétanque, table tennis, swings, a solar-heated pool and a campfire area. Horse riding is available for a fee. The surroundings offer several nature attractions: Chmeľová and Voroblik gorges with waterfalls, Lačnovský kaňon, the Vrátnica rock window, Kamenná baba nature reserve, Zlá diera cave, and mineral springs Salvátor and Sultán. A certified tourist guide is available for trips.
