Ekokemp Lipa is a small off-grid retreat above Štiavnické Bane in the Štiavnické vrchy hills, a few minutes from the UNESCO town of Banská Štiavnica. It rents two self-contained units -- a static caravan and a mobile cabin -- each with a kitchenette, a dry compost toilet and a shared outdoor warm shower.

About the camp

Ekokemp Lipa offers two independent off-grid units rather than traditional pitches: 'Karavan pod dubom' (a caravan under an oak tree) and 'Lesanka' (a mobile cabin whose bed, table and desk fold away by day). Both sit in quiet forest on the Štiavnické vrchy hillside, with a kitchenette, small fridge, gas heating, solar lighting, hammocks and a fire pit, and share a warm outdoor shower and a dry compost toilet -- no indoor plumbing. The price is the same for one or two guests; Karavan pod dubom can add a third guest on a sofa bed, and either unit can add a two-person tent alongside. Small and medium dogs are welcome; booking is by email only.
