About the camp

Kemping Rybníky Opatovce is a leisure facility set beside former quarry lakes fed by a branch of the Váh river. The site caters for campers with 200 pitches including electrical hook-ups, dedicated tent areas and shared modern sanitary facilities. Anglers can fish for carp, pike, catfish and sturgeon across 2.5 hectares of water, and may even pitch a tent by the lake shore by arrangement. A buffet and outdoor grill operate from May to September at weekends, serving grilled trout, sausages and local snacks. Families find a playground, swimming pool, bouncy castle, trampoline and open-air cinema during school holidays.
