Kutica is a group of seven architect-designed glamping mini-houses built on land the founder's family has held for over a century on the edge of Nová Baňa, central Slovakia, each a private heated cabin for two set in the Štiavnické vrchy hills.

About the camp

The project began with a single cabin, Kutica u Lohajov, designed by architect Tomáš Horniak on his grandfather's land at the edge of Nová Baňa, and has since grown into seven separate mini-houses sharing one entrance and reception. Each unit is heated and air-conditioned for year-round stays, sized for two adults, and has its own terrace, small kitchen and private bathroom. Some units take a family with one young child and a small dog for a surcharge; others are kept adults-only and pet-free. Reservations, live availability and the exact nightly price run through the operator's own online booking system rather than a fixed printed tariff. Extras on offer include ready-made picnic boxes, e-bike hire and a picnic set.
