LEMA Lesná Obývačka is a single off-grid, solar-powered forest cabin in the small village of Stará Huta, central Slovakia, near Zvolen, standing at the edge of a forest beside open pastures where cows graze. It is a self-catering, couple-oriented retreat with an outdoor hot-water shower, ceramic toilet, small kitchen and bio fireplace, priced at a flat EUR80 per night for the whole cabin.

About the camp

A secluded, self-sufficient cabin built for slowing down: no neighbours, just forest and pasture in view when the door opens. The one-cabin 'forest living room' is deliberately simple - small kitchen with a gas stove (no fridge), bio fireplace, hot-water outdoor shower available year-round, ceramic toilet and outdoor seating - with solar-powered electricity that can occasionally cut out and water refilled by hand. A Nespresso machine with coffee, tea, spices, wine and a small snack are included free of charge. The site markets itself to couples: board games for rainy evenings, an optional projector for movie nights, breakfast for two on request, and help arranging a surprise for an anniversary, birthday or engagement. Guests share the grounds with grazing cows and must keep the electric fence closed in summer.
