About the camp

Reached by a wooden bridge, the treehouse sits about six metres up in four mature oaks, with a terrace looking out over the forest canopy. Inside there is a chair, a sofa bed with basic kitchen equipment, and a ladder up to a sleeping loft with a mattress for two; the site's own pages differ on whether a third or fourth guest can join, but the booking calendar itself caps stays at three. The plot is fenced forest with mains electricity, container-supplied water for washing, a dry toilet 15 metres from the house, a barbecue/fire pit, and parking. The owners describe visiting squirrels, birds and salamanders, and welcome everyone from young children to couples seeking quiet.

The treehouse stands in forest above Modra-Harmonia in the Little Carpathians, a hillside resort area with hiking and skiing since the 19th century. Red Stone castle, Smolenice castle and Budmerice castle, the Driny cave and the Velka Homola lookout tower (709 m) are all within reach, and the town of Modra is known for wine and ceramics.
