Lakeside recreation site at the Teplý Vrch reservoir, Slovakia's warmest lake (27-30 degrees C), in the Rimava basin near Drienčany. Offers tent and caravan camping alongside a hostel and several cabins, plus sports courts, watersports and fishing.
About the camp
Operating since 1987 as a family, school and camp destination. Tent pitches (flat or gently sloped) and a shared car/caravan parking area sit alongside a hostel building and several cabins, 88 beds in total. Half or full board can be booked in advance at the on-site dining hall. Multi-purpose courts serve volleyball, football and basketball, with dedicated badminton and tennis courts; the lake itself is used for pedal boats, paddleboarding and windsurfing (the water slide is out of service for the 2026 season). A limited number of numbered fishing spots run June to November. Dogs are not allowed anywhere on the grounds. Nearby: the Drienčanský kras nature trail, a small cave, a sundial and the ruins of two medieval castles.
