Rent-a-Fairytale Tent "Kukučka" is a fully equipped pyramid glamping tent with its own private shower, toilet and kitchenette, on a small Dutch-run holiday farm in Dolina near Modrý Kameň, Slovakia. It sleeps up to 4 people in two sleeping cabins and is bookable only in July and August.

About the camp

Kukučka is one of three accommodations at Natuurlijk Slowakije / Natural Slovakia, a farm in a wooded valley that Dutch couple Yvon and Sabine Moréna have run since 2018 on a site that once held a watermill. The pyramid tent has two sleeping cabins with real mattresses, a lounge area, a garden set and WiFi, plus its own outdoor sanitary unit (shower, toilet, kitchenette) next to the tent. Guests share the farm's yard with a Bernese mountain dog, cats, sheep, a goat and chickens, gather round a communal campfire, and can borrow a goulash kettle and BBQ. Modrý Kameň Castle is a 45-minute walk away and the village bakery about 20 minutes on foot.

The farm sits in a valley near Modrý Kameň in southern Slovakia, about a 45-minute walk from Modrý Kameň Castle and roughly 5 km from the town of Veľký Krtíš (restaurants, an organic outdoor pool). A stream runs through the grounds and the village bakery is a 20-minute walk away.
