About the camp
Camping im Garten sits on what used to be a garden and landscaping business, now a quiet, privately run site filled with fruit trees, flowering plants and natural meadows. It offers 6 pitches for caravans and 4 for tents, plus a sanitary building and a dishwashing/water point. Check-in runs Monday to Saturday from 17:00 to 20:00 (or by phone arrangement) with check-out by 11:00; Sundays are by phone arrangement only. From November to March the site rents pitches for longer-term storage. The owners also share personal hiking recommendations for the Eisenach area, including a circular route via Glasbachstein, the Ruhlaer Skihütte and the Gerbersteine rocks.
