One of three motorhome stopovers run by the town of Helmstedt, this pitch sits on the car park at the sports field (Sportplatz) in the village of Büddenstedt, about 10 km (around 15 minutes by car) from central Helmstedt. It has room for two motorhomes and is free of charge. Stays are for spontaneous arrivals only; the town does not take reservations for its motorhome stopovers. Helmstedt and the surrounding Elm-Lappwald nature park offer numerous sights and an extensive, well-marked network of cycling and hiking routes.
