About the camp
Wohnmobilstellplatz Wächtersbach is an unstaffed, coin- and card-operated motorhome pitch on the Messegelände (exhibition grounds) in the centre of Wächtersbach, with five spaces for motorhomes. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance, and the historic old town, Wächtersbach Castle with its park, and the town forest are about a 10-minute walk away. Cycle routes (the long-distance Fernradweg R3 and the route to the spa town of Bad Orb) start less than 500 m from the site, and the heated outdoor family pool is about a 15-minute ride away. The train station, 3 minutes away by bike, connects by bus shuttle toward the Vogelsberg cycling route, Spielberger Platte, Birstein and Bad Orb. Open year-round, except roughly three weeks around Ascension during the annual Messe Wächtersbach trade fair; pitches cannot be reserved in advance.
