Zwiesel Grenzlandfestplatz is a motorhome parking area in Zwiesel, a spa town in the northern Bavarian Forest national park region, opened in October 2022. It offers 12 spacious gravel pitches, all with electricity, plus fresh water, waste disposal and wifi on site. Shops and restaurants are about 100 m away, close to the old town. The stay price includes free use of regional buses and the Waldbahn forest railway. Zwiesel has centuries of glassmaking history, home to the world's largest glass pyramid and a glass chapel, a Saturday farmers' market, a brewery a five-minute walk away, and access to hiking trails toward the Arber, Falkenstein and Rachel peaks.
