About the camp
Oudshoorn is one of 12 terreinen run by the Nederlandse Caravan Club (NCC), set in the Groene Hart polder landscape just outside Alphen aan den Rijn. Small fields lined with trees and shrubs give a sheltered, quiet feel; the site borders the Aarkanaal on one side and an 18-hole golf course on the other. About 30 of its 111 pitches have paved hardstanding for caravans and campers with an awning, reached by a narrow road that keeps every pitch car-accessible. A tree-lined path circles the whole terrain, popular with walkers and dogs, and children have a playground plus bikes, go-karts and scooters. The site manager says guests are free to be as sociable or as private as they like.
