About the camp
Bats Jan bills itself as a small, cozy campsite ('kleine gezellige camping') and invites visitors to camp at the farm. It is affiliated with the Dutch SVR small-scale camping association and gives SVR members a discounted nightly pitch rate; non-members can join SVR on-site. Pitches for a caravan, camper or tent are priced for 2 people, with tourist tax and electricity usage billed separately. A furnished safari tent can also be booked by the weekend, midweek or full week. The site says a visit is free, so people are welcome to stop by for coffee or tea even without staying overnight.
