About the camp
Camperpark Kinderdijk is a small, motorhome-only stopover in Alblasserdam, close to the Kinderdijk windmills UNESCO World Heritage site and reachable by bike or bus. Large pitches have an electricity connection, and the site offers two camper-service points, a shower, a toilet and an information room stocked with maps and cycling routes. The flat overnight fee includes tourist tax; electricity is billed separately per kWh used and a four-minute shower costs a small fee, while the chemical-toilet dump and wastewater discharge are free. Reservations are only accepted for groups - individual travellers simply arrive or call ahead in the morning to check for space, paying on departure by card at a machine. Frankia camper club members get one free drink per visit, April to September.
