About the camp
De Pothaar combines a historic farmstead and museum with a handful of motorhome pitches ('camperplaatsen') located close to the Oude Schipbeek, a stream running behind the property. Pitches offer privacy and an individual electricity connection, with a shared shower and toilet building for all guests. The wider site is run as a 'boerderijmuseum & gastvrij erf' (farm museum and hospitable farmstead) and keeps Lakenvelder cattle, alongside a farm-history and 'boerenmagie' (farm magic) theme, a terrace, a 'sterrenbos' (star-shaped forest) to visit, and marked cycling and walking routes into the surrounding Salland region. Overnight camper stays are booked by phone directly with owner Bertina Paalman-Elmerink rather than through an online booking system.
