About the camp
The site sits on a wide grass field on a touring route with the IJsselmeer on one side and the Rijsterbos forest on the other. Guests choose their own spot among 15 pitches; there is no reception, so the fee goes into an envelope with a filled-in registration form, dropped in the owner's letterbox. There are no fixed power or water hook-ups per pitch, since the field reverts to nature outside the camping season, but drinking water, a wastewater point and cassette-toilet emptying are available at the service point, along with free Wi-Fi and sanitary facilities in a covered wagon (toilet, shower, sink, outdoor shower). Leashed dogs are welcome. The site markets itself as a quiet, back-to-basics stop to "relax and enjoy", suited to motorhome travellers passing through as much as those staying to unwind.
