About the camp
This self-service camper resort sits amid the waterways at the edge of Nationaal Park Weerribben-Wieden, the largest continuous raised-bog nature reserve in northwest Europe, within walking distance of Giethoorn, known as the 'Venice of the North' for its canals, arch bridges and jetties. The 99 semi-paved pitches suit self-contained motorhomes up to 15 metres; caravans, folding trailers and tent camping are not accepted, and there is no shared sanitary building - campers must bring their own facilities. Check-in is fully automated via an entrance kiosk, available around the clock whenever the gate is open, and no reservation is needed or possible given the resort's capacity. An affiliated restaurant, Villa Bodelaeke, and an on-site SUP rental unit let guests explore the surrounding water.
