About the camp
Camping d'Hof has two tent fields, tentenveld 1 and 2, directly on the Bovenwiede lake in the heart of Giethoorn. Guests book a self-chosen pitch per person per night rather than a fixed numbered plot, and passing hikers are welcome to stop spontaneously without a reservation. Electricity is optional and billed separately; BBQs are allowed by prior arrangement. Showers run on coin-operated tokens available from reception, and there is a small recreation room (Koestal) plus a toilet building. A small beach lets campers swim or launch their own boat, canoe, SUP or surfboard; more watersport options are detailed elsewhere on the site. Luggage trolleys help with the walk from the car park; groups are welcome only by prior request.
