Camping De Bronzen Eik
Netherlands
Camping De Bronzen Eik is a campground in the wooded Westerwolde nature area near Sellingen, in south-east Groningen, the Netherlands. It offers standard, motorhome-friendly and hiker/cyclist pitches alongside rental chalets and overnight cabins, plus an on-site 9-hole footgolf course and an adjoining restaurant.
About the camp
The campground sits in Westerwolde's forested countryside next to the historic village of Sellingen, with hundreds of kilometres of cycling and walking routes reachable directly from the site. It positions itself as a relaxation-focused holiday destination: pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes (some with electricity, water and sewage hookups), dedicated hiker/cyclist pitches, group fields, and pitches with private sanitary facilities on the Harpel field. A heated sanitary building serves the rest of the grounds. Guests can also stay in rental chalets or fully equipped overnight cabins. The camp's own 9-hole footgolf course is billed as the first permanent footgolf course in the Netherlands, and Restaurant De Ruiten Aa sits directly alongside the site.
