About the camp
De Wite Burch is a recreational park in the wooded, water-rich Gaasterland region of Friesland, near Bakhuizen. Camping pitches measure around 100 m² and include a 10-amp electricity connection, water, sewage and a TV hookup, with modern sanitary facilities right beside the fields. Beyond tent and caravan pitches, the park rents barn houses, holiday lodges, chalets, a static caravan, a trekker's hut and dedicated group accommodation. On-site facilities include a reception, the Horeca De Burcht restaurant/bar, a park shop, a mini petting zoo, playgrounds and an organised children's entertainment programme, plus bike and boat rental and a grocery package. Dogs are welcome for a fee.
