About the camp
Frans and Yvonne bought the old Ottermeerhoeve farm with about 20 hectares of farmland in 2000 and, together with Brabants Landschap, turned it into a mature, species-rich nature estate: more than 50,000 trees planted and three swimming ponds dug. The campsite sits inside that nature. It opens for set periods only: the May holidays, Ascension and Pentecost, and six summer weeks from early July to late August. Each period has its own character. In the summer weeks several workshops, concerts and communal activities run every day: breathwork, painting, foraging, a sweat lodge, an ice bath, natural horsemanship, permaculture and ecstatic dance, with meals cooked by chef Marnix and his team. Everything is optional, and the camp says you choose what suits you and your family. Outside the school holidays the estate hosts gatherings and retreats.

The campsite lies in the middle of the estate's own nature, with a swimming pond on the grounds and a view over the water at sunset. The land was farmland until 2000 and is now woodland with three ponds, developed with Brabants Landschap.
