About the camp
Rivo Torto markets itself on nature and quiet: the site is ringed by forest, and the owners invite guests to walk, cycle or simply have a moment's peace. Alongside the annual places there is a small number of tourist pitches, each with room for the car next to it and a standard hook-up of water, electricity and sewerage; tourist pitches run on 10 A, annual places on 16 A. A recreation team organises activities during the season, and the reception can point guests at the sights nearby, among them Kasteel Halsaf, whose odd name comes from an old legend. The camp is open from 1 April (never later than Good Friday) to 31 October, welcomes weekend arrivals, and asks weekday visitors to arrange a time by e-mail or phone. Caravans are occasionally for sale on site.
