Camping Synneveer is a waterside campsite open from 1 April to 1 October. Pitches are priced a la carte at a flat per-person night rate with a separate fee for the tent, caravan, trail-in trailer or motorhome, and sanitary facilities and WiFi are included in the price. The camp hires out its own tour boat with an outboard motor and SUP boards, and keeps space for guests' boats and trailers.

About the camp
The price list reads like a family-run place beside the water. Every guest pays the same per-person night rate, and the tent, caravan, vouwwagen or camper on top of it is billed separately, so a stay is assembled from what you bring rather than from a fixed pitch product. Boats are the theme: a small boat, canoe or kayak can stand on the shore, larger craft and trailers have their own storage rates, and a trailer slipway is charged once per visit rather than per night. Guests can take a tour boat with an outboard motor, petrol included in the hire price, or a SUP board by the hour. Visitors are asked to report to the Leyenaar family on arrival and departure. The camp asks campers to leave out groundsheets that suffocate the grass, which says the pitches are turf.

The camp's own photos show it at a harbour and describe it as a camping on the water, and the boat-hire picture is named for Sneek. The on-site slipway and the boat and trailer storage rates make it a base for guests who bring their own craft.
