About the camp
The Campererf is a small-scale motorhome field set in the open coulissen landscape of rolling hedgerows. It lies at the end of a dead-end road used only by traffic going to it, which the owners describe as an exceptionally quiet spot where you wake up to birdsong. The field sits directly on the rural Knooppunten cycling network and on the LAW long-distance paths and Streekpaden regional paths, so it suits tourers on two wheels as well as travellers passing through. Everyday facilities such as supermarkets and restaurants are in the immediate area, and Buitenpost station, for Groningen or Leeuwarden, is within walking distance.
