Camping Manínska tiesňava sits directly on the border of the Manínska tiesňava National Nature Reserve near Považská Bystrica. It offers new log cabins (59 beds) and about 25 tent and caravan pitches with 16A electric hookups, plus a natural pool fed by a year-round 17°C spring.

About the camp

The camp sits at the edge of Central Europe's narrowest limestone canyon. New zrubové chatky (log cabins) in 2-, 4- and 5-bed configurations each have their own terrace with seating. A shared kitchen is available with induction hob, oven, refrigerator, pots and tableware. Since May 2025 the sanitary block is completely new, with hot-water showers around the clock at no extra charge. A small buffet serves fried food, breakfast items and draft Martins beer; cards are accepted at both the buffet and reception. Two communal fire pits with seating are provided, and a portable grill is available free of charge.

The camp is set in the Manínska tiesňava limestone canyon, part of the Strážovské vrchy mountains, 6 km from Považská Bystrica. The narrowest canyon in Central Europe is a popular hiking destination.
