About the camp

Built by the owners themselves from recycled wood salvaged from historic buildings, the cabin sits in a pine forest on the edge of the small town of Spišská Stará Ves. It suits couples, families and solo travellers, with room for 2 adults plus up to 2 children from age 3. Heating comes from an electric heater plus a bio-fireplace, lighting is by LED lantern, and there is a WC with a wash-basin water reservoir inside; a shared shower is available for stays of two nights or more. The surrounding Pieniny area offers rafting, cycling and hiking, the Červený Kláštor monastery, the folk-architecture village of Osturňa, and the Polish border about 1 km away.
